Amy Reid is an American from Sarasota, Florida. She is preparing for her wedding in March. Her fiancé, Michael Cambridge, is an Irishman who is the heir to the Cambridge gem business. Amy joins him at the family estate in preparation of the lavish ceremony.

Unfortunately, she soon learns that not all is well in Dublin, and she may not live long enough to consummate the marriage.

Irish Jewel is a well written spine-tingling thriller by Julie Ann James. The story grabs readers from the very beginning and it keeps the chills coming until the shocking end. Just when you think you have the answer another twist turns everything around and the chill factor increases.
